When did you start Bodybuilding & how did you get started?

Well, I started working out when I was 13 years old. I was really small as a kid and I wanted to get bigger, so I started working out. I started competing in bodybuilding last year in October where I placed 1st in the 20 and under division. I then started power lifting, and after a few meets I set the American Squat record at 181 lbs and 17 years old with a 475 lb squat. Then I went to nationals and I ended up placing first. Then recently I competed in another bodybuilding show where I took 1st in 20 & under and 3rd in middleweight.

Describe your training program

My training depends on if I’m in season for bodybuilding or if I’m in powerlifting season. If I am powerlifting I will follow a powerlifting workout schedule where I squat and bench Monday, deadlift Wednesday, and squat and bench Friday. Then I’ll train chest Monday after my powerlifting workout, then arms or shoulders on Tuesday, back on Wednesday, arms or shoulders on Thursday, and then legs on Saturday. On the weekends I just train basically whatever I feel like doing. Usually lacking body parts. If I’m bodybuilding my splits are usually chest abs, back calves, legs, arms abs, shoulders calves, legs, and then repeat.

Describe your diet and supplementation

During the offseason I like to eat clean. Get my protein from chicken, beef, turkey, fish, and my carbs from oatmeal, rice, potatoes, yams, and then I eat a lot of vegetables. Whenever I’m hungry, I eat. As simple as that. I just eat those foods that I listed. And whenever I’m in contest prep I do what my coach tells me, which is usually a carb cycling diet.

What are your favorite supplements?

I like all Muscle Pharm products. Those are mainly the only products I use.

Bodybuilding Achievements

I placed first in the 20 and under division at the Alaska Fitness Expo in the Crystal Cup on October 26th, 2013. I placed first in the 20 and under division at the Alaska Fitness Expo in the Crystal Cup on October 11th, 2014, and I also placed 3rd in the middleweight division.

What are your goals for the future?

My goal is to get my IFBB pro card. I just started bodybuilding and I have fallen in love with it ever since I first stepped on the stage.

When I was a freshman in high school I tore my hamstring and herniated 2 discs in my back. The chiropractor told me I would never be able to squat or deadlift heavy again. Then, a few years later I break an American record and I deadlift a quarter of ton. Don’t listen to people when they tell you things like that. If you set your mind to something you can achieve anything in life.
