When did you start Bodybuilding & how did you get started?

Bodybuilding in a way came to me. I used to race BMX on a national level, traveled all over the US to race, had multiple titles, and loved the sport. It was my whole life, until I suffered a shoulder injury in 2011 and could no longer race. I was always involved with the gym due to racing, but never ate a clean diet, just trained legs for racing. After I was done with physical therapy, I felt lost, like I didn’t have anything to compete for anymore, it made me so mad. So I went to the gym and started using other machines and trying different exercises that I remember my dad use to do. Then after a month or so a girl in one of my high school classes told me my arms looked bigger… haha that definitely lit a spark, so I kept going and trying to learn how to develop my body even more. I met an owner of a local supplement shop called Nutrition Central Lake Conroe. Patrick Sturgeon was the owner, he took the time to teach me about all the different supplements, and how without a proper diet, they would be useless. After 2 years my whole physique changed, I was bigger leaner and had a lot of confidence. Patrick gave me a job at his store, and even told me I should compete in the Teen bodybuilding class. August of 2013 I decided that I was going to enter the 2014 NPC Phil Heath classic, I did my own prep and ended up placing 2nd in the teen class, stayed in good shape and did the Branch warren classic as well and placed 3rd. At this point I wanted a win! So I contacted Jon Irizarry, and he and I worked together and brought the best Heston possible to the 2014 NPC Texas State Championships, I ended up winning the Teen and Novice Lightweight classes.


Describe your training program

I believe in training hard, regardless of whether you’re in prep or offseason, nothing beats hard work.

I train 6 days a week, hitting legs twice a week. Legs are a big thing for me; you’re not a bodybuilder without a good set of wheels!

Monday: Legs heavy and concentrated

Tuesday: Chest

Wednesday: Back

Thursday: Arms

Friday: Legs Pump day with lighter weight and just get a massive pump.

Saturday: Shoulders.



Describe your diet and supplementation

I keep Supplements very simple; since I work at supplement store I know a decent amount. The main 3 things I always have are a good multi, fish oil, and protein. Along with those some good BCAA’s, joint support, and occasionally a pre workout.

I eat 6-7 meals a day, the macros depend on what I am trying to achieve at the time being. I love to cook and make sure all my meals are enjoyable, no need to suffer through eating healthy!

What are your favorite supplements?

Protein would be Matrix by syntrax, the banana, and peanut butter cookie are just too awesome haha

Bodybuilding Achievements

I placed 2nd at the 2014 Phil Heath Classic, 3rd at the 2014 Branch Warren Classic, and then at the 2014 NPC Texas State Championships, came in the leanest I have ever been, and won both classes, and earned the title Mr. Teen Texas 2014


What are your goals for the future?

Try to grow, and progress and better myself. Collegiate Nationals in 2015. I want to help push others to chase their goals, just as I am chasing mine.
